Description

Pyrisma® T81-23 SW Liquid Blue is an innovative interference blue pigment which features a new type of micro-fine mica fraction. Exact control of the production process yields a pigment which shows a color of outstanding purity and saturation, so far unattainable on a mica fraction of similar fineness. With its excellent coloristic properties in combination with its small particle size and narrow size distribution, this product allows the creation of intense blue coatings with a silky-smooth texture. The state-of-the-art SW surface treatment guarantees excellent weathering performance and thus fulfills the complex needs of modern coating systems and applications. This surface treatment is suitable for all coating systems which require a good balance between hydrophilic and hydrophobic behaviour. Pyrisma® T81-23 SW Liquid Blue is customized in particular for use in OEM and refinish automotive paints, but is also suitable for other high-end liquid paint applications.
