Did you know that a shampoo bottle, amongst other products, can have all important information yet be label-free?
Laser marking offers a sustainable solution for packaging, replacing traditional labels with non-toxic, non-contact marking that reduces material waste and environmental impact.
With our Iriotec® 8000 series, laser marking is durable, fast and flexible, enabling high customization of content in various surfaces, accommodating different requirements such as fine line marking, QR codes, and decorative images.
We have partnered with Outdoor Freakz and Gabriel Chemie to create a 100% monomaterial recyclable bottle. This product packaging is label-free, accommodating all information and design elements directly on the bottle via laser marking.

What are the benefits of laser marking with Iriotec® 8000?
Can a color be recycled to bring a new one to life?
In partnership with GRAFE, a New Life has been created, showcasing how what was once considered waste can give rise to new, vibrant colors and high-quality materials. Recycling has never been so inspiring!
With our unique Iriodin® and Pyrisma® effect pigments, and Iriotec® for laser marking, we have transformed three bottles, ensuring that SUSONITY technology allows polymer sorting via Near-Infrared (NIR) despite the pigments.
The recycling process begins with the shredding of these bottles into plastic flakes, which are then mixed to create a new material. From this process, a brand-new bottle is born, showcasing a stunning visual effect while maintaining its laser marking properties. This development highlights the exciting potential for recycling colored plastics with effect pigments, which previously posed challenges in recycling processes
