Sustainable Standards for Effect Pigments

The desired standard for effect pigments emphasizes performance, appearance, and sustainability values, with all three aspects being equally important for customer satisfaction and business success. None of these aspects can function effectively without the others.

Our effect pigments are designed to provide vibrant colors and unique effects, extending the lifecycle of everyday products such as cars, bikes, planes, tools and buildings by enhancing their appeal and durability. Our pigments help surfaces maintain their aesthetic quality for longer, promoting both durability and sustainability.

We are committed to reducing the CO2e levels of our products, primarily by transitioning to solar, green and other renewable energy sources while further optimizing our efficient and modern production techniques to minimize waste and out-of-spec batches. We have initiated pilot projects to test recycled and natural ingredients that could replace current materials in our products. Additionally, we collaborate with customers on joint projects to develop coating solutions that enhance the value of our products and optimize coating formulations and applications.

We focus on sustainability throughout all our operations, and not only because global regulations are pushing our industries in that direction. Instrumental Color Release
Data driven technologies are moving forward at top speed: we, as a quality leader offer a new digitized color release process for the global QC of pearlescent pigments. Highly reliable color data will replace the perception of the human eye. How? Instrumental color data have been correlated with visual evaluations to derive instrumental specifications based on the DIN99o formula.
