We understand what cosmetics consumers want by gathering valuable feedback and insights on their preferences and priorities. We collect the voices from customers and partners, collaborate with trusted agencies, and listen to firsthand experiences of many of our colleagues, family and friends who use cosmetics products on a daily basis. Our passion for cosmetics continues to drive us to adapt our products to meet the latest demands from various consumer groups and to incorporate developments in natural and sustainable ingredients.

For us, responsible sourcing means treating natural resources and the individuals involved in sourcing, with the utmost respect. As a founding member of the Responsible Mica Initiative (RMI), we go above and beyond the guidelines to support local communities. Additionally, we are a founding member of the Traceability Alliance for Sustainable Cosmetics (TRASCE), promoting transparency and honest information about all ingredients.

From plant, marine to biotech origin, we source natural and fully renewable active ingredients that respect the biodiversity and comply with the Nagoya protocol guidelines. We produce effect pigments and functional fillers with a high natural index that not only enhance beauty but also prioritize the needs of environmentally conscious consumers. Our commitment to safety and health is reflected in our clean product offerings, including microplastic and talc replacement solutions, UV-filters that protect our skin from the damaging effects of sunlight, and insect repellent IR3535® for protection against vectors that could transmit dangerous diseases. And we cater to special interest groups by providing products that meet vegan, halal, and other specific certification standards.

EcoVadis Rating Pending
We are proud of the continued recognition of our sustainability leadership. This is reflected by further improving our official EcoVadis score to 75/100 in 2024, now placing us among the top 3% of all companies, across all industries, taking part in this assessment and resulting once again in a gold medal! The score is even higher than in 2023, when we also received a gold rating for our sustainability progress.
SUSONITY x TRASCE Consortium
We are part of a consortium of 15 cosmetics industry companies that have announced that they have joined forces to create the TRaceability Alliance for Sustainable CosmEtics (TRASCE) to enhance traceability in key ingredient and packaging supply chains across the industry.

Certifications
Many new and creative labels and certificates have emerged in recent years to inform customers and consumers of healthy, safe and sustainable facts about products. Such labels and certificates are a confirmation of good practices, suitable product designs and a sustainable background. Many of our products meet such label and certificate (third party or self-assessment) criteria and we're happy to use them.

We are dedicated to championing best practices across our supply chains, even when it isn't mandated or typical in our industries. We believe in taking a proactive approach and doing what’s right.
Sustainable Supply Chains
Global legal guidelines are increasingly forcing transparency in global and local supply chains. But when we demand more information, data and security from our own scope-3 suppliers, we should realize we ourselves are our customers' scope-3 suppliers. We're all in it together, all in one supply chain.
Harmonization & Verification
Global harmonization of CO2e calculation and reporting standards, combined with independant verification methods that are trustworthy and acceptable for all stakeholders, are prerequisites for sound environmental progress and a positive sustainability culture in our industries. Harmonized standards strengthen the comparability, consistency and decision usefulness of climate-related disclosures around the world.

Because it's up to all of us to halt the tide of climate change and protect the environment, we are cutting down our emissions, reducing our energy consumption and manage natural resources responsibly. We have formulated several goals, defined clear measures and plans to achieve them and we report regularly on our progress.
