Neodymium Fluoride Patinal® (NdF₃) is used as a high index material for optical multilayer coatings in the UV spectral range.

AREAS OF APPLICATION

High index material for DUV / VUV multilayer coatings, e.g., at 193 nm (ArF excimer laser)
