Description

Durazane® 5500 is a composite material consisting of an amorphous SiO2 core and a polymer cladding material. Since the nano particles are completely incoperated in a polymeric matrix, no nanoscalic dust is produced when the solvent is removed. The dried residue has polymeric characteristics like film building and transparent properties.
