Sound sustainability policies include social and ethical factors, like how organizations interact with people, communities, society and respect human rights. For us, this starts with our value system and our principles-based approach to our daily practices. We believe it's our duty to meet our fundamental responsibilities in topics like human rights, labor conditions and anti-corruption practices. We are incorporating social and safety factors in our policies to improve health and wellbeing for all people that interact in any way with our company, and we have strong internal guidelines to ensure we adhere to ethical business practices. We subscribe to the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact and have incorporated these in our internal guidelines for good behavior and practices.
People are responsible for the success of our organization, so people play an important role in all we do and how we achieve it.
Nearby we support our colleagues in their development and promote an open and inclusive culture. Further away we support people and communities in countries where we source ingredients and materials. For example in India, where we support families by paying living wages, promote and audit safe working conditions and invest in local hospitals and schools. As a founding member of the RMI we strongly advocate responsible mica sourcing and we have stringent processes in place to minimize any negative effects of our sourcing.
Our Supplier Code of Conduct guarantees that we partner exclusively with reputable suppliers who share our commitment to social responsibility and safety standards
We respect the interests of our employees, customers, suppliers, stakeholders, and society. If you have any indications that we are not meeting this commitment, we kindly ask you to inform us.
Through our grievance system, violations of our Code of Conduct, applicable laws, human rights, or specific environmental risks and breaches can be reported. Anyone may submit suspected cases free of charge and anonymously.
If contact details are provided, the receipt of the report will be acknowledged within seven days.
Our Compliance Team receives reports submitted via the above-mentioned channel and forwards them within SUSONITY to qualified employees in the relevant departments for further processing.
In the first step, the plausibility of the report is assessed. If a review is not possible due to insufficient information, we will attempt to contact the reporting person to request further details.
If sufficient information is provided, appropriate follow-up measures—such as an investigation—will be initiated.
Should the investigation confirm risks or violations at SUSONITY, with suppliers, or other business partners, suitable follow-up actions will be taken.
